The Prince Edward Building, constructed in 1908, served multiple functions until 1980, when it was transformed into the Glove Theater. The original interior was dismantled and redesigned to create two distinct theatre spaces: the primary theatre, which features over 400 bowl seats encircling the stage, and a smaller “Black Box” theatre with the capacity of 100seats, dedicated to emerging artists and experimental performances. The building’s exterior underwent repairs and restoration to preserve its historically significant appearance.
